The Project.

Fysika was ignited by the need to create new ways of living at a time of rapid change — in harmony with the land, grounding, a return to essence.

A collection of luxurious villas nested in 110,000 sq. meters of land in the mountains, built at the crossroads of sustainable technologies and the wisdom of Cycladic tradition. Nested in the mountains above the beach of Vathy, the earth-bermed villas preserve and integrate with the raw natural Cycladic landscape. Each villa shares a common vision and design, yet stands fully autonomous, anchored into its own private estate.

Each property is a short walk from the beach, delivering breathtaking sea views over the iconic Omega-shaped bay of Vathy. Built with natural stone, high ceilings and ample luminosity, the villas hold space for profoundly regenerative, nurturing living.

Location.

Fysika takes ground on the hill heights of Sifnos Island, overseeing the Omega-shaped bay of Vathy, just a mile away from the beach. It is a 2h30 ferry ride from Athens & Mykonos Intl Airport.

The protected valley holding Fysika, historically called Gennaria (Greek for 'Place of Birth'), is one of the unique places where herds of sheeps & goats find refuge from the elements around birthing season - sheltered from the Cycladic wind and blessed with rare natural springs.

Fysika.

Φυσικά or Fysika carries a double meaning in Greek.

It denominates that which is ‘Natural’, void of artifice, void of seeking to be anything other than what it is - the essence of an object.

Its secondary meaning, ‘evidently', points to the obvious hidden in plain sight. When humans have been seeking fulfilment in the non-essential, Fysika invites the obvious to be revealed - living in harmony with the Earth, to the steady rhythm of nature, connected to one another is what we have been longing for.
